The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 100-91, at Delta Center on Thursday in the 2023 Salt Lake City Summer League.
The Thunder enjoyed a fast start and never looked back, setting the tone with a 36-17 advantage in the quarter and bolstering their lead past the 20-point mark with a 26-21 score in the second quarter. The 76ers responded in the second half, but it was not enough to mount a comeback despite winning the final two quarters, 24-21 and 29-17, respectively, as the Thunder tightened things up defensively down the stretch to secure the victory.
Tre Mann led the way for the Thunder with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Ousmane Dieng had 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Zhaire Smith and Jaden Shackelford impressed off the bench with 16 and 11 points, respectively.
Jaden Springer was the leading scorer for the 76ers with 17 points and five boards, while Terquavion Smith had 15 points. Javonte Smart (11 points), Greg Brown III (11 points) and Jordan Tucker (12 points) impressed off the bench as well.
