Toys For Tots - Toy Drive
Beginning at 7:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 13, a "Toys For Tots" toy drive will be held at the Pepsi Center prior to the Nuggets/Lakers game (8:30 PM tip). Unwrapped new toys for kids of all ages will be accepted, as well as cash donations. The toys will be distributed to needy children throughout the Rocky Mountain region by the Marine Corps.

After serving a seven-game suspension, Nuggets shooting guard J.R. Smith is ready to return Tuesday night with a renewed passion and a new identity. The 24-year-old says he would like to be known by his given name, Earl Smith III. By any name, the Nuggets will welcome Smith back as they try to end a two-game losing streak.

After a 5-2 start, the Nuggets will be getting a boost with the addition of J.R. Smith to their already potent wing. Altitude play-by-play man, Chris Marlowe, believes that although Smith is the third-best player on the roster, Denver would be better suited with the human flame-thrower still coming off the bench this season.

Playing their fourth road game in five days, the Nuggets fell
125-100 Saturday night in Atlanta. Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points, and Chauncey Billups finished with 27 for Denver, which has consecutive losses for the first time in the last 24 regular-season games. The Nuggets next play Tuesday in Chicago.
