Ernie Grunfeld - President, Washington Wizards
Widely regarded as one of the top executives in the National Basketball Association, Ernie Grunfeld is entering his sixth season as President of Basketball Operations of the Washington Wizards. Grunfeld joined the organization on June 30, 2003, and in just his second year, with a roster that was largely assembled under his guidance, the Wizards won a Playoff series for the first time in over two decades in 2004-05. With their second consecutive playoff appearance in 2005-06, Grunfeld’s Wizards registered back-to-back playoff seasons for the first time in 18 seasons, and reached an organizational goal of becoming perennial Playoff contenders. Grunfeld triggered Washington’s ascent to the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference with the acquisition of a pair of talented performers in Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison, both of whom blossomed into All-Stars. Tommy Sheppard - Vice President of Basketball Administration
In his sixth season with the Wizards organization, Tommy Sheppard is in his 15th year of service to the NBA. As Washington’s Vice President of Basketball Administration, Sheppard assists with the day-to-day operations of a basketball department that brought three All-Stars in Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison, and Caron Butler to Washington, and added veteran toughness to the Wizards’ core with DeShawn Stevenson and Darius Songaila. As one of the league’s most potent offenses has led the Wizards to the NBA Playoffs in each of the last four seasons, including a trip to the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2005. Milt Newton - Vice President of Player Personnel
As the Washington Wizards Vice President of Player Personnel, Milton M. Newton is in his sixth season with the Wizards organization. Newton's responsibilities include an assisting role in the day-to-day front office responsibilities of the organization - including salary cap and player management - while directing the overall scouting efforts of a franchise that has now made four consecutive playoff appearances. Newton oversaw the creation of Washington's comprehensive scouting database which includes players from both the collegiate and professional ranks, domestically and abroad, he also spearheads the Wizards' pre-draft efforts in scouting and conducts the team’s workouts of prospective draftees. Peter Biche - President, Business Operations/Chief Financial Officer, Washington Sports & Entertainment
With 13 years of experience at Washington Sports & Entertainment, Peter Biché oversees the business operations and financial functions for the organization, including the Washington Wizards and Verizon Center. Biché first started with the company in 1996 as its Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President of Business Operations in 2007, adding these duties to his position as Chief Financial Officer.
