Currently a producer for ABC's Good Morning America, as well as a reporter for NBA TV, Albert began her professional career as a story coordinator for King World's nationally syndicated newsmagazines, Inside Edition and American Journal. She traveled the country chasing murderers, covered the aftermath at Columbine High School, and produced Deborah Norville's exclusive interview with Paula Jones.
Her most memorable experience in news was her role as Norville's producer and cellmate on a series that studied incarcerated women. Albert lived in jail on two different occasions --a total of nine days and nights behind bars. For her work on the "Cell Block A" series, she received the 2001 Gracie Allen Award from American Women in Radio & Telvision and the 2001 Exceptional Merit Media Award from the National Women's Political Caucus
Albert spent four months as a part-time reporter on Inside Edition before becoming a full- time feature correspondent on "New York Central" on the Metro Channel in May 2001. Her reports varied from spending a day with New York Giants star Tiki Barber to the social impacts of 9/11 on the sports community.
Albert attended Boston University, where she co-hosted a sports talk show on WTBU Radio. She also interned at MTV in Manhattan, as well as WSBK-TV 38 and WBZ-TV in Boston. Albert worked two Summer Olympiads for NBC; she was a runner in 1992 in Barcelona, Spain, and a production associate during the 1996 Summer Games.
Albert is the fifth member of her family to enter the world of broadcasting, following father Marv, uncles Al and Steve, and brother Kenny.
Albert resides in Manhattan with her husband Jordan Fisch.
