Jason Terry and Dave & Buster’s are helping blanket the Metroplex, and on Tuesday, Nov. 27, they made their first of what we will be several deliveries coats and blankets. Terry and members of the Dave & Buster’s corporate office visited Austin Street Centre as part of JET’s Coat & Blanket Drive.

Jason handed out coats to residents of the shelter, taking time to shake hands, pose for pictures, sign autographs and offered words of encouragement. The visit proved rewarding for everyone involved.

The JET’s Coat & Blanket Drive began collecting gently used coats and blankets during the Mavs-Grizzlies game on Nov. 17. Over 250 articles were collected. This is the first year of Jason’s partnership with Dave & Buster’s.

Austin Street Centre provides emergency shelter and services to the homeless in a compassionate and Christian community.
